Terms of Service

Last updated 7 August 2026

Straightforward terms for working with Automated Codes, written so you can read them once and know exactly where you stand.

Agreement

These terms apply to everyone who uses automatedcodes.com and to every project we deliver. By sending an enquiry or accepting a quote you agree to what is written here.

What we provide

We build business websites, automation tools, custom software, search visibility systems and related growth services. The exact scope of any engagement is confirmed in writing before work starts, and that written scope always takes priority over general descriptions on this site.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on the site are starting points for typical scopes. A final quote is issued after we understand your requirements. Quotes stay valid for fourteen days unless stated otherwise.

Payments

Projects start with an advance and the balance falls due at handover unless a different schedule is agreed in writing. Recurring services are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled before the next cycle.

Delivery timelines

Timelines we commit to assume that content, access and feedback arrive when requested. If material we depend on is delayed, the delivery date moves by the same number of days.

Revisions

Each engagement includes a defined number of revision rounds. Requests that fall outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before we take them on.

Ownership

Once the final invoice is settled you own the design, copy and code we produced for you. We keep ownership of our internal frameworks, reusable components and tooling, and we may show non confidential work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that any content, brand assets or data you send us is yours to use, and that your use of what we build follows the laws that apply to you.

Limits of liability

We are responsible for the work we deliver, but not for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost data on third party platforms, or downtime caused by hosting providers, domain registrars or services outside our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the affected engagement.

Termination

Either side can end an engagement with written notice. Work completed up to that point remains payable, and we hand over everything produced once the outstanding balance is settled.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and active projects keep the terms that were in place when they started.
